Arvindbhai patel institute of environmental design

Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design was established in 1980 in Vadodara by Parisar Trust. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture and Interior Design. In 1984, the institute was shifted to Vallabh Vidyasagar. APIED has received affiliation from Sardar Patel University. All the courses are offered under three different schools- D C Patel School of Architecture, Dr. HM Patel School of Interior Design and Bhaikaka Centre for Human Settlements.

APIED B.Arch and BID Admission
APIED offers 5-year undergraduate course in Architecture for candidates who have passed class 12^th with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects. Admissions will be through All India level architecture entrance test - National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) followed by counseling at university level.
Apart from B.Arch, the college also offers four years Bachelor’s program in Interior Design for which the university conducts and entrance test- School of Interior Design Entrance Test (SIDET).

APIED PG Admission MID and M.Plan

At postgraduate level, the college offers two-year full-time Master’s courses in Interior Design and Planning. For MID candidates who hold Bachelor’s in Architecture or Interior Design are eligible to apply. Applicants having Diploma in Architecture, equivalent to graduation can also apply and will be admitted through Personal Interviews conducted at university level.
Applicants who have obtained Bachelor’s in Architecture, Planning/ Engineering/ or Master’s in Geography/ sociology/ Economics can apply for M.Plan. Admissions will be based on candidate’s scores in university level entrance test- Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET).
