The admission to Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute, Bhavnagar is done through the ACPDC (Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses) and it is merit-based. Thus, neither cutoff nor ranking in any entrance is needed. 

The applications are filled through online mode only.

Application Process

• After the release of the admission notification by ACPDC, candidates must read the ACPDC notification before applying the application form.

• Students can fill the application form online at the website www.gujdiploma.nic.in.

• The students need to fill the personal, academic, and other relevant data in the application form.

• Attach the document if applicable.

• The admission to courses is based on the marks obtained by the students in their previous classes.

• Pay the fees once shortlisted to confirm the seat.

This college provides Good amount of knowledge during the 3 years diploma courses. But the placement here is not that much high, students may get jobs as some companies do visit this college. But the students will have to look up for better jobs at their own as the salary packages may not be that high.

Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute Bhavnagar Scholarships

As this college is a Government College, the fees are quite affordable. But the college still provide scholarship to SC/ST caste and Economically weak section students. The conditions for the allotment of these scholarships are: 

• TFWS- 5% of total seats available are filled by this scheme. In this scheme, the student should fulfil the below listed conditions.

  • Their family income should be less than INR 8 lakhs per annum.

  • They have to submit the income certificate issued by the administration at the time of registration.

  • The TFW seats are also granted as per the merit list which requires the candidates to score some minimum prescribed marks.

•  SC/ST- The students belonging to SC/ ST category whose family Income is less than INR 2.5 lakhs per annum are eligible for this scholarship and they get a 100% waiver on the tuition fee.
