Motherhood University, Roorkee established under Uttarakhand Govt. Act 5, 2015 is located in the vicinity of Holy Ganga River at educational city of Roorkee with the objective to provide education, research and training to aspiring youth of Uttarakhand and the country with a mission to prepare growth ambassadors.

 

MotherHood University was founded in the year 2004 and is located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The University is accredited by NAAC, UGC.
The university offers multiple UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, and Research program under its ten departments. The UG and PG programs offered by Motherhood University are BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Pharm, D. Pharm, BA LLB, B.Com LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, B.Ed., BA B.Ed., B.Sc, B.Ed., B.EI.Ed, MA, M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, M.Pharm, and M.Ed. Also, GNM, Diploma in Engineering, DMLT, BMLT, DRIT, BRIT, and BPT are the Diploma and Certificate courses run by the university. The university also offers the Ph.D. program with 15 specializations.

• Candidates are required to apply offline for each course separately and shall collect the application form in person from the University campus or may download it from the University’s website.

• The application fee shall be submitted either in cash or through the DD.

• Students who have passed 10+2 with PCM, PCB, or have studied Mathematics, Chemistry, Commerce, English as their compulsory subject with minimum 45% marks are considered eligible for BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, LLB, BCA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, GNM and Diploma in Engineering course.

• An applicant with who have passed 10+2 in any discipline is considered eligible to get admission to BA B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., B.EI.Ed.

• Candidates with Graduation or PG Degree in any relevant discipline, are eligible to get admission into B.Ed. course.

• Applicants with BA B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., B.EI.Ed, and B.Ed. Degree are considered eligible for admission to M.Ed. program.

• The minimum eligibility criteria for DMLT, BMLT, DRIT, BRIT, and BPT is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates)

• Applicants who hold B.Com Degree are considered eligible for M.Com program, the one with B.Pharm degree are eligible to apply for the M.Pharm program.

• Similarly, applicants with Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant specialization with minimum 50% marks are eligible to get admission to MS, M.Sc. and MBA program.

• Students who have Master’s Degree in any specialization with 55% marks (50% for the SC/ ST candidates) or have qualified UGC-NET are eligible to get admission in the Ph.D. program.

• Admission to all UG, PG, and Diploma courses are given on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination through the direct admission process.

• Direct admission to MBA program is given through CAT/ MAT scores. Also, candidate can get admission in MBA program through merit basis.

• While to the Ph.D. course is given through Research Entrance Test (RAPT) conducted by the University for the students who do not qualify NET/ JRF/ GATE.
