Bhagirathi Institute Campus is located in a serene environment, in the picturesque location of the lower Himalayas with a salubrious climate, about 5 Km from Lohaghat city.
Swayam Deep Society is a registered organization under society act, Based in Lohaghat block, Champawat, Uttarakhand. The main objectives of the organisation is to establish the technical and management institution in the hill areas for upliftment of education and provide the opportunities to youth.
The Institute insists on developing students into efficient technocrats in their selected pursuits by guiding them to build their insights. Abilities ways of right thinking the aim of institute is to make Uttarakhand more enrich and competitive in the field of Engineering and Technology. The institute is running courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Production, Mechanical Automobile, Computer Science and Pharmacy with intake of 60 students in each branch.

Uttarakhand, made internationally famous by the chipko movement led by the women of the area in April 1973. Uttarakhand, previously known as Uttaranchal is the 27th State of the Republic of India. It attained its statehood on November 9, 2000 after years of struggle. The birth of Uttaranchal was the culmination of a regional movement for statehood in which women participated in great numbers and even paid price in the shape of the Muzaffarnagar episode on 1st October 1994.

Diploma in Engineering
Matriculation (high school) from any recognised board
10+2 (PCM)or its equivalent from any recognised board
Matriculation (high school) with 2 Years ITI certificate
Diploma in Pharmacy
10+2 with minimum45% Marks PCB/PCM) from any recognised board

State Quota
Uttarakhand state has conducted joint entrance examination for polytechnic (JEEP) for admission in various polytechnic institutions in Uttarakhand through UBTER (Uttarakhand board of technical education, Roorkee). Admissions are made through counselling in accordance with merit list of JEEP by UBTER.

Management Quota
Admission in management quota shall be made strictly on the basis of merit and satisfying the eligibility criteria by the admission committee

Lateral Entry admission (Admission in Second Year)
Candidate can take direct admission to 2 nd year to Diploma in engineering course provided that he/she have passed 10+2(PCM) or its equivalent or Matriculation (high school) with 2 Years ITI certificate
