Admission Procedure

 

100% admissions to the B.Tech Programme would be made on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India) would be made through State level counselling to be conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, DehraDun. Counselling is done on the merit based on ranks obtained by the candidate in Joint Entrance Examination.

Reservation policy would be applicable as per the State Govt norms. 15% Management admissions are done directly by the Institute based on the merit of JEE. For management category admissions, candidates need to register in the Institute.

Application

The application for admission to graduate and post-graduate programs under general and self sponsored categories may be made only on the prescribed format and sent to the Admissions Coordinator at the institute. Hostel & Mess Facilities
Doon Institute provides comfortable and well-appointed hostel accommodation to students both on-campus and off- campus. Room accommodation is extended on a firstcome- first-serve basis to students. Students can avail hostel rooms either on a single or a shared basis.
Our hostels are equipped with :

• A separate computer center has been established in the Girls Hostel to facilitate late hour working for Girls.

• First aid facilities and visit of doctors on call.

  The Hostel provides accommodation to students in a spacious well furnished and elegant rooms with all modern facilities. A Hostel warden looks after the well being and safety of all students and inculcates students to be in discipline at all times. Students may approach the warden freely should they face any difficulty in the hostel. The wash rooms are common with hygienic toilet areas. Hygienic and nutritious food is provided at the minimum possible cost in the mess.
  A furnished boys Hostel with all amenities along with mess and 24X7 security provides a home away from home. Further developments are in the process of completion. The students enjoy tranquil environment and learning friendly ambience away from the humdrum of the city noise. We have ensured that our students have the privilege of attaining knowledge in a pollution free environment.
