The GRD Institute was founded in the year 1989 by the Guru Ram Dass Educational Trust(Regd.), New Delhi dedicated to the memory of Shri Guru Ram Dass Ji, the fourth Guru of the Sikhs.
The institute was founded with only one main motive to give proper and quality education to all the students and train them as such that they become the future leaders for the better tomorrow. Sardar Raja Singh Oberoi, the Chairman of the Texla Group of Industries, is a well-known philanthropist. He generously donated 14 acres of the estate in Rajpur, Dehradun to facilitate and encourage the opening of the trust activities.
GRD-IMT Dehradun, one of the top 10 colleges in Dehradun makes sure that all our teaching staff give out their best service and grooming all our students. Along with academics we focus on other aspects such as personality development, competitions, and encourage their art in order to boost their confidence.

GRD Institute of Management and Technology was established in 2008 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The institute offers various courses under the departments of management and engineering. Undergraduate courses offered are BBA and B. Tech. Postgraduate courses offered are MBA and M. Tech. All the courses in GRD Institute of Management and Technology are offered on full-time basis and affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University

• The eligibility criteria for B. Tech is passing 10+2 with minimum 50% marks having Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Science as a compulsory subject and valid score in JEE Main.
• The eligibility criterion for BBA is to pass 10+2 in any stream with more than 40% marks.
• The eligibility criterion for MBA is obtaining a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with more than 50% marks.
• For MBA, candidates should have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks and a valid CAT/MAT score.
• To be eligible for M.Tech, candidates should have a graduate degree in relevant stream and valid score in GATE or UTU Entrance Test.
• 50% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand residents in B. Tech and M. Tech.

GRD IMT Dehradun Merit Scholarship

GRD Institute of Management And Technology offers merit scholarships to students according to their academic performance in their respective qualifying exam. This scholarship is applicable only in 1st Year , there will be no rounding of CGPA and the candidate must have cleared all the subjects of the qualifying exam.

Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship

GRD Institute of Management And Technology offers 10% Scholarship on Tuition Fee to Uttarakhand Domicile Students,To avail the scholarship student must carry Original Domicile certificate of Uttarakhand State at time of admission.

40% seats are reserved for these students for all the programs in GRD-IMT.

The GRD-IMT Dehradun offers 5% Scholarship on Tuition Fee to siblings of present student/s.

To avail the scholarship, the sibling must carry the following document at the time of admission:

• Aadhaar / any valid photo ID proof of the student bearing the name of the parent.

Scholarships For Students Having Domicile of Hill States

The GRD-IMT Dehradun offers 10% Scholarship on Tuition Fee to Hill States Domicile Students.For availing the scholarship the student must carry Original Domicile certificate of respective Hill States at the time of admission.

Students from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Manipur, Mizoram,Megahalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura can avail benefit of this scholarship.

GRD-IMT Scholarship for Girls

The GRD-IMT Dehradun offers 5% Scholarship for Girl students on Tuition Fee applicable for the first year for Diploma/UG/PG programmes .The Scholarship percentage will remain the same on PAN India basis.

Scholarship For The Wards Of Defense Personnel

The GRD-IMT Dehradun offers a 5% Scholarship on Tuition Fee to the son/daughter of defense personnel (including Para Military viz ITBP, CRPF, etc.).To claim this award of scholarship, the student must carry a valid certificate (Original) of their father/mother at the time of admission.

Scholarship For Alumni Sibling

The GRD-IMT Dehradun offers a 5% Scholarship on Tuition Fee only to the brother/sister of the Alumnus. To apply for the scholarship, the student must carry the following documents at the time of admission.

(i) Aadhaar / any valid photo ID proof of the student bearing the parent's name.

(ii) Mark sheet/Certificate issued to Alumnus bearing the names of parents

Scholarship For Existing Student Sibling

The GRD-IMT Dehradun offers a 5% Scholarship on Tuition only to the brother/sister of the Alumnus. To apply for the scholarship, the student must carry the following documents at the time of admission.
