Government Rural Polytechnic, Takula  was establish in 1986. Government Rural Polytechnic Takula  is associated to Uttrakhand board of technical education Roorkee. Every year an entrance exam is conducted by U.B.T.E. Roorkee. After Qualifying this exam(JEEP) students are sellected through counceling for G.R.P Takula .
Two branches are  ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING and MODERN OFFICE MANAGEMENT & SECRETARIAL PRACTICE  available in Our Institute .  It is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).  The Institute has well trained and experienced faculty members.

admission in Govt.Rural Polytechnic Takula, You have to follow the given steps:-

• Buy the JEEP form from the distribution centre. Available in months Jan and Feb.
• Fill the form & submit to the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education or any Government Polytechnic college in uttarakhand.
• Later on you will get the entry card for the jeep entrance exam on your address or you may download it from www.ubter.in .
• The JEEP exam will be conducted by Board Of Technical Education in the month of May.
• Results are declared & you may see your result on www.ubter.in As per counselling date as per your rank you may attend the counselling & get the branch and college of your choice if you have sufficient rank.
• After allocation of your college report to the college and take admission.
