Roorkee College of pharmacy , Roorkee (RCP) is a Christian minority educational institution has been set up in Uttarakhand state under the August Aegis of Noble Christian Education & Religious Trust conceptualized in year 2003, with the mission to develop skilled, educated and dedicated manpower in the area, especially in the field of pharmacy . RCP is committed to impart career oriented and quality education to the youth. In spite of a galaxy of pharmacy institutions already existent in Uttarakhand, the emergence of RCP universe in the year 2003 accentuates its uniqueness in guiding the students in the areas of wisdom and excellence in pharmaceutical education. The institute was established in the year 2003 with D. pharmacy B. pharmacy course and now it offers education at Post graduate level in three specializations (M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance). The institute is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and approved by AICTE, New Delhi & PCI, New Delhi.
The 10 years of successful journey of RCP turned out to be a mixture of all kind of emotions – fun, joy, tension and satisfaction. The journey of 10 years of RCP has been enriching and full of learning experiences to students, staff members and management.
The College is running following courses –
D. Pharm : A two year diploma course with an annual intake of 60 students.
B. Pharm : A four year degree course with an annual intake of 60 students.
M.Pharm : A two year post graduate course in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance with a annual intake of 18 students in each stream.

The college offers full time B.Pharm course of four years duration based on entrance examination conducted by RCP. Candidates who have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the subject from Biology/Mathematics/ Biotechnology with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
Candidates who have completed Diploma in Pharmacy from the institutes approved by PCI with minimum 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) of marks in the examination conducted by the State Board of D.Pharm and equivalent are eligible for lateral entry in second year or third semester of B.Pharm course.

At the postgraduate level, the college offers M.Pharm course on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and counseling conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University. Candidates must have passed B. Pharm from any University/Institute recognized by AICTE and PCI with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in B.Pharm Examination. GPAT qualify candidates will be given preference.
